Etsy: Set up your Etsy Brand Profile

Etsy: Setting Up Your Brand Profile

Enhance your customer experience by adding custom neck labels and branded packing slips to your Etsy orders.

Before You Start: * Ensure the Live Ink Etsy App is installed.

  • Pro Tip: Set up your Brand Profile before syncing products. This ensures your custom labels are ready to be assigned to your listings immediately.

How to Access: Manage your branding directly through your store’s admin panel once your Etsy fulfillment is connected.

Basic Brand Identity

  1. In the Live Ink app, click Create New Brand (or Edit Your Brand Profile at the top right).

  2. Company Name: Enter your brand name.

  3. Upload Logo: Add your high-quality brand logo.

  4. Contact Info: Add your company email and a return address.

    • Important: Live Ink does not handle returns; you must provide your own address for customers.

Customising Packing Slips

Live Ink includes a free standard packing slip with every order.

  1. Social Media: Enter your handles (Instagram, TikTok, etc.). These will appear as icons on the slip.

  2. Personalise: Add a "Thank You" message or a discount code for future orders.

  3. Choose a Template: * Go to the Packing Slip tab at the top.

    • Click Preview on the available styles to see how your logo and info look.

    • Click Save Changes once you’ve picked your favorite.

Setting Up Neck Labels (Optional)

You can replace the generic garment labels with your own "Inside Neck Prints" for £1.50 + VAT per item.

  1. Go to the Labels tab at the top.

  2. Upload Design: Add your label artwork (max size: 8x8cm).

  3. Recommended Info: Include your logo, fibre content (e.g., 100% Cotton), and care instructions (e.g., "Wash at 30°").

    • Max inside neck print 6cm x 6cm
Tip: Most brands use one "universal" label for all sizes to keep things simple.

Syncing to Products

Once your profile is saved, you must link it to your items:

  1. Go to the Manage Etsy Products (or Listings) section in the Live Ink app.

  2. Select a product and click Edit.

  3. Under the Brand dropdown, select your new profile.

  4. Under the Label dropdown, select the specific neck label you uploaded.

  5. Click Save.

Pro-Tip: Set up your Brand Profile before you start syncing new products to save time—this allows you to apply your branding to every new listing automatically.
