Every decision at Live Ink from the cotton in the garment to the ink on the screen is held against one standard: Best looking, lowest impact. No exceptions. No excuses
Only GOTS certified organic or recycled cotton in our garments.
Global Organic Textile Standard certification covers the entire supply chain — the soil, the farm, the factory and the people working in it. We do not stock garments with lesser credentials.
We never use virgin polyester. Ever.
Virgin polyester is a petrochemical product that sheds microfibres into waterways with every wash. It is not an acceptable material for merchandise. Where blends are needed, we use recycled polyester only.
Only GOTS and OEKO-TEX certified water-based inks.
Our screen printing and DTG inks carry both GOTS and ECO-PASSPORT by OEKO-TEX certification. No PVC, no phthalates, no harmful solvents and a softer, more breathable print that genuinely feels better to wear.
100% renewable energy in our print facility.
From the lights to our print presses our energy is green all the way. This meant investing in new infrastructre for our Bristol production HQ.
FSC certified recycled packaging, nothing else.
All garment mailers are made from FSC certified paper and are fully recyclable. No plastic polybags, not even if you ask nicely.
True no-minimum ordering. One item if you need it.
DTG printing and embroidery have no minimum order. Screen printing starts from 20 units. You do not need to buy a pallet of stock to access the good stuff.
0% commission print on demand. No subscription.

Live Ink started in 2013 as a garment printer for bands, labels and tour merchandise. Working with artists meant working to an uncompromising standard because fans keep merch for years and they can tell the difference between something made with premium standards and something knocked out cheaply.
Along the way we started thinking more about the garments under those prints. The easily available and best priced options were non organic, low-grade and produced with little regard for the people or environments involved which felt wrong. So we rebuilt our supply chain from scratch around premium sustainable suppliers who hold the same certifications we demand from our inks.
Over 13 years the business grew into a full-service studio in Bedminster, Bristol. We now run industry leading MHM automatic screen printing presses, Brother GTX Pro direct to garment printers and world leading Barudan embroidery machines all under one roof and all to the same high standards. The music industry roots are still there in how we approach every job, it has to look great, feel great and last.
