Set up your Shopify Brand Profile

Set up your Shopify Brand Profile

Learn how to set up your Brand Profile to include printed inside neck labels and branded packing slips with your Shopify app fulfilment orders

Once you have connected your Shopify fulfilment with our site, you can easily manage your Brand by accessing your store admin panel. We recommend setting up your Brand Profile before managing your products to ensure that your labels are ready to assign to your products. If you haven't installed our Shopify App yet, that's the first step.

Install Live Ink's Shopify App

Log in to your Shopify store and navigate to the Live Ink app by either clicking the Apps button at the top of your page or scrolling down to and clicking the Apps button on the Admin menu (the little jigsaw piece icon) and selecting Live Ink from the list. Otherwise from our site go to: https://live.ink/my-brands

Creating a Brand

Click on Create New Brand, enter the company name and upload your company logo. Once this has been done you will be asked to complete the Customer service contact details, packing slip and labels.

While not all details are mandatory, we recommend including your company name and email at a minimum, to ensure customers can contact you easily. An address is also useful for returns. Please note that Live Ink does not accept returns on behalf of our customers, so you will need to detail your returns policy on your Shopify store for your customers.

Packing Slips

Your parcels come with a free standard packing slip that only includes the information you add on the Brand page, along with details of the items included. To access this page, simply click on the 'Edit Your Brand Profile' button located at the top right corner. Here, you can add important information about your brand to your packing slip, including a logo, thank-you message, discount codes, and more.

Enter your social handle used for your accounts, and select which platforms you use and your handle and relevant icons will be displayed on your packing slip.

Click the Save changes button to save everything you've done so far.

Selecting your packing slip template

Scroll to the top of the page and you'll see three tabs; Brand, Packing Slip, Labels. Click the Packing Slip tab to view the available templates.

Preview each template by clicking the preview button next to it and see how the details entered on the Brand tab will look like on the packing slips. Once you've chosen your preferred template, click the Save changes button. Your packing slips are now set up and will be included in all orders placed through your Shopify store. You can edit the packing slips at any time. Keep in mind that the slips are printed as your orders are packed, so any changes you make will take effect immediately and will apply to all orders in your account that have not yet been shipped.

Brand Labels (Inside Neck Prints)

You also have the option to upload brand labels to your Brand Profile. Scroll back to the top of the page and click the Labels tab to upload your labels.

These are optional DTG labels printed in the back of the neck to a maximum size of 8x8cm. Each printed label costs £1.50 + VAT and is added to the cost of production when added to your product variant during set-up.

Sizes aren't required on neck labels but it's one route you could go down, but most customers simply run with their brand logo.

Information you can include:

  • Logo
  • SizeCare instructions (Wash at 30, inside out. Don't iron over print.)
  • Fibre content (100% cotton, for example.)

Please note: Not all products can have printed labels, for example hoodies with fluffy lining and racer back vests where the width of printable space in the neck is too narrow.
